Sick visits · Same-day when available
Same-day sick visits, when availability allows.
Cough, congestion, sore throat, sinus symptoms, fever, and select minor illnesses, handled with a focused visit instead of a waiting room marathon.
Availability depends on provider schedule, visit type, and location.
Right level of care, decided honestly
A sick visit handles
Cold and flu symptoms. Cough and congestion. Sore throat and sinus symptoms. Fever in adults who are otherwise stable. Select minor illnesses, medication questions, and symptom guidance.
When testing or a prescription is appropriate, that happens here too.
The ER handles
Chest pain. Trouble breathing. Signs of stroke. Severe bleeding or major injury. A severe allergic reaction. Anything sudden, severe, or getting worse fast. Don't book online for these. Call 911.
For a mental health crisis, call or text 988, or text HOME to 741741.
How a sick visit works
1
Book or call
Same-day slots go fast. Calling gets you today's real availability.
2
Share symptoms
A quick rundown before the visit, so the right provider sees you.
3
Get evaluated
Symptom review, testing recommendations when needed, and medication guidance.
4
Follow the plan
Treatment, a prescription where appropriate, or a referral if you need a higher level of care.
Before you're seen
Have these ready.
When your symptoms started and what's changed. Your current medications, including anything over-the-counter you've been taking for this. Your pharmacy. Your insurance card, if you're using one.
Telehealth sick visits are an option when clinically appropriate, in the eight licensed states. Some things need eyes, ears, and a swab in person, and the scheduler or the team will steer you right when you describe the symptoms.

After the visit
The visit ends with a plan, and the plan is written down.
Your summary, prescriptions, and any test results land in the patient portal. If symptoms aren't improving on the expected timeline, you call, and the follow-up conversation starts from your chart instead of from scratch.
Same-day care here knows your history tomorrow. A sick visit lands in the same record as your psychiatric care, your medications, and your labs, which matters more often than people expect.

Common questions
How likely is a same-day visit, really?
It depends on the day's schedule, which is why calling beats guessing. If today is full, you'll get the earliest real option instead of a vague callback.
Can a sick visit happen over telehealth?
Often, when clinically appropriate. Cough, congestion, and medication questions frequently work over video. Symptoms that need an exam or testing get seen in person, and the team will tell you which yours is.
What does a sick visit cost?
With insurance, your plan's copay and network rules apply, and benefits get verified. Without insurance, ask about self-pay when you book. Either way you'll know before you're seen.
What if it turns out to be something bigger?
Then the plan says so, with a referral, imaging or labs, or a direct instruction to go to the ER. The visit's job is the right level of care, even when that's not here.
Feeling rough today?
Call and the team will tell you what's open. If nothing fits today, you'll get the earliest real option.
